Sound
The Sound Team in London is a dedicated staff with a wealth of experience across all genres. Our versatility is such that we successfully accommodate a full range of production needs.
All of our five theatres are capable of mixing for stereo TV, each with a voice booth for commentary recording and access to a large sound FX server as standard. We have recently refurbished one of our theatres to make it fully 5.1 capable.
We also have three specialist tracklay rooms, to serve all dialogue and fx editing needs, as well as complex ‘sound design’ work.

Mixing
We have three dubbing theatres in our TVC building. They are equipped with 32track AMS Audiofiles, and are networked with the tracklay areas. They also offer a comfortable working environment for our clients, and can easily accommodate all aspects of drama and documentary work, including commentary recording and ADR.
Additionally we have a Protools Theatre in both our White City and East Tower buildings( both in Wood Lane), each linked to a local Avid Unity system, and similarly offering facilities for commentary recording and fx searching.

Refurbished theatre with 128 channel fully automated Soundtracs desk. Full 5.1 monitoring, Dolby E encoding and HD layback capabilities.

Dubbing theatre Tech Spec
Commentary
Our theatres have voice booths of various sizes to suit different needs. We can record to picture provided on SP and Digibeta and can deliver on various tape and digital formats. One of our areas has ISDN facilities.
Tracklay
We have three areas for conventional tracklaying and sound preparation with AMS Audiofiles at their heart. Material can be brought in via OMFI on CD/DVD, or through a traditional audio conform from Digibeta, DAT and SP. Each area has access to an extensive library of sound effects with an advanced search tool for easy provision of backgrounds and spots.
Sound Design
For animation and CGI material we employ a dedicated Sound Designer. Our tracklaying areas, already benefiting from an extensive sound FX library, are integrated and enhanced with ProTools and KymaX software to create new and original material.
